Lockdown food relief

During March 2020 South Africa found itself facing the COVID-19 pandemic, this led to devastating effects on the children and families who were already experiencing some levels of food insecurity. Our efforts were then aimed at sustaining children in Motsoaledi with food parcels for the duration of the nationwide lockdown. With every donation received we were able to sustain children identified as having malnutrition with food parcels. Recognising the impact the food parcels have had, we aim to continue with the parcels even during lockdown level 1.
